received the call on my cell phone, no one said anything and hung up. I called the number back, the call connects, but no one says anything

Called on behalf of the Columbia Firefighters Association to ask for money. Abruptly hung up on me when I couldn't give.

how can i stop this number from calling my number again? any suggestions from anyone? thanks!!!

Iam getting the same call, about 4 times.--he stated he was some investigator and that a complaint is being made on my social security number---i didnt call back, seem like some cell phone. i have also gone to the police dept to report this phone number and had officer hear voice message...the officer advised of several scammers trying to hook people. do not waste your time with this scammer

I have been harrased for over a month. I was called and, told that I owe them 500 dollars from a pay day loan...They called my brother asking for me. now they are harrasing my family to...I made a police report,and I have a case number for what is worth...they stoled my bank account number and, routing number.I had to change my account..If that was not enough, they got my computer information and, changed my pass word and now my windows live messenger and my hotmail messenger is now blocked and can not access my windows live messenger...this was done without my knowledge... Can anyone stop these scammers and,hackers.P.S when they called me they said there from the crime prevention program and if I don;t pay the 500 dollars I was going to go to jail for 30 days..on top of it all they said they're going to put a lawsuit against me..
